All lessons and classes at Mighty Fins Swim School focus on safety first. According to the CDC, more children ages 1-4 die from drowning than any other cause of death, while nonfatal drowning can lead to serious problems like brain damage or disability.
We reduce the risk of accidental drowning by prioritizing water safety and self-rescue. Class sizes are small to ensure your child is always safe.

Class Offerings
Each curriculum includes safety integration, clear milestones, and parent involvement.
Water Babies Program
Level 1: Parent and child swim together! Intended for children who are swimming for the first time. This program focuses on:
- Water acclimation
- Assisted floating
- Safe water exits
Tiny Tots Program
Level 2: Intended for beginner swimmers, average ages 2 – 3. This program focuses on:
- Breath control
- Front floating
- Back floating
- Basic swim skills
- Jump-turn-return technique
- Streamline gliding
- Treading water
- 10-yard swim
Little Swimmers Program
Level 3: Intended for beginner to intermediate swimmers, average ages 3 – 5. This program focuses on:
- Rotary breathing
- Introducing freestyle and backstroke
- Introducing dolphin and breaststroke
- Introducing 25-yard swim
Mighty Fins Swim Academy
Intended for intermediate swimmers, ready to get more comfortable in the water and progress their swimming skills. This is a great program for kids interested in swimming competitively and focuses on:
- Stroke technique and refinement
- Breath control
- Endurance training
- Flip turns and open turns
- Diving / Starts
- Swim team prep
Requirements:
- Complete Level 3
- Must be able to swim 25 yards independently
- Must be able to demonstrate freestyle and backstroke
- Have knowledge of dolphin kick and breaststroke kick

Private Lessons
Personalized, one-on-one lessons are perfect for the child who needs a bit more attention and direction.
1 lesson per week (4 per month): $120/month
2 lessons per week (8 per month): $240/month
Adaptive Lessons
We are proud to offer adaptive swimming lessons for kids with disabilities! Our instructors have backgrounds in behavioral therapy for children with ASD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and more.
